The Electrical and Automation Engineering studies are conducted at Valkeakoski campus. Learn to develop energy efficient electrical and automation systems and solutions and utilise new technologies like simulation, virtualisation and robotics in different ways.
The Sustainable Urban Design studies are conducted at Riihimäki campus. Learn to design environmentally friendly urban environments and transport systems using tools like service design, AI and data analysis and to shape mobility services, plan resource-wise infrastructure, and use data and technology to plan sustainable cities.
The ICT, Circular Economy studies are conducted at Forssa Campus and are perfect for those who would like to learn about data-analytics, the Internet of Things and smart technologies that you can use to create sustainable products and services of the future.
The studies will start in Autumn 2025. The International Business studies are completely online, allowing you to balance studies with your work life. This programme is ideal for students who are already in the workforce and looking for a flexible study option.

Important Information for International Business (part-time) applicants
- Selection Process: Based on academic evaluations. Detailed information about the selection process and admission criteria can be found here.
- Non-EU/EEA Citizens: As this program is fully online, there is no eligibility for a study-based residence permit or visa. Changing from online to on-campus study is also not possible, so please apply only if you wish to complete your studies online.
What are part-time studies like?
You will have live lessons online one to three times per week in the evening or late afternoon times. The teaching days are usually Tuesday-Thursday. Our teaching method will be close to flipped classroom so that you are able to combine your daily work into given assignments. The study method requires independence as well as the capability of working in teams.
