I work as a researcher and supervisor in the data and business analytics team of the HAMK Tech research unit at HAMK, which is tasked with producing expertise in mathematical and statistical analysis, optimization, modeling, and the application of machine learning algorithms. Our team combines computational methods with practical applications, especially in the fields of bio- and circular economy, as well as agriculture and related industries. We develop solutions that support sustainable development and digitalization, such as optimizing logistics in circular economy companies, improving energy efficiency in buildings, and utilizing data in monitoring carbon sequestration in agriculture.
