I work as a Senior researcher at HAMK in various research projects dealing with phenomena in vocational education. I write publications related to vocational competence and foresight. I have a PhD from the University of Helsinki (2011) with a major in adult education and educational science. I have worked for 18 years as a principal of liberal arts education in Espoo and Western-Uusimaa. In my position as the Head of Research (2016-2025), I was responsible for research and development projects carried out in cooperation between vocational secondary education and higher education.
